James M. Braden is a graduate of Harvard Law School, magna cum laude, where he was Editor of the Harvard Law Review. He holds his bachelor's degree from Macalester College, and was a Rhodes Scholar at Oxford University, England. From 1980 to 1981, Mr. Braden clerked for the then-Chief Justice James Browning of the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. He has over 20 years of legal experience in transactional and general litigation matters.
Mr. Braden's diverse experience on both the plaintiff and defense sides of his areas of practice uniquely enables him to evaluate cases realistically and to bring them to successful resolution. Mr. Braden's extensive litigation experience complements his transactional practice in allowing him to negotiate agreements with the necessary foresight into what will later become important in the event of litigation.
